I am Just a man who set out on a mission to not conquer THE world but conquer My own world. I use to think that there wasn’t much hope given the fact that my dad was a drug abuser, yet I was always Overflowing with the desire to inspire millions, to show that what we come from is no indication of where we are going. To trade in fear for reward. Most importantly, to cross the bridge never to burn it, but to extend your hand to next person crossing.
That is peace in my time... #TheGuardianProgram

One of the most tragic things I know about human nature is that all of us tend to put off living. I must admit that I do this myself many times. I tend to worry a lot about things, which many times steals my joy. Will there be enough money! Will work pan out! What can I do to be more productive! Many times just sitting around I feel I’m wasting precious time. Instead of enjoying the moment. I pray to God daily to help me with this. It gets frustrating. We are all dreaming of some magical rose garden over the horizon-instead of enjoying the roses blooming outside our windows today.
Each morning when I open my eyes I say to myself: I, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today. I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn't arrived yet. I have just one day, today, and I'm going to be happy in it. Just thought I would share this. We all have faults. Don’t be ashamed of them. Just ask God to help you like I do. He can do anything. We can’t. #TheGuardianProgram

So What's Scott Thinking About today? Well, let me tell you. Taking the pressure off. What’s the best way to take the pressure off yourself? Do something about it. How do you rid yourself of that burdensome frustration? Do something about it. There is much you can do to make it better. And when you’re sick and tired of feeling the pressure, then you’re highly motivated to take positive action. Instead of complaining about how bad it is, envision how good it can be. Then get busy bringing that vision to life. Take the initial step, and suddenly you’ve changed the whole dynamic. What was a problem begins to become an opportunity.
When life gets tough, take that toughness and make it your own. Then make something beautiful and positive out of it. Those who achieve, do not know that they can’t. Those who fail to achieve, do not realize that they can. What do you believe you can do? What do you think you cannot do? Whatever it is, you are right. Now imagine what would happen if you raised your expectations. Make your dreams so compelling that you forget about what you thought you could not do. And sure enough, you’ll soon find yourself doing it. Consider each skill, each ability, and realize that those skills and abilities can grow. Look at the accomplishments you’ve already reached, and see the possibilities for building on them.
See the very real continuum between the value you’ve already created and the goals you wish to reach. Let yourself know you can, and you will.
The Bible says in Habakkuk 2:2 “Write the vision And make it plain on tablets, That he may run who reads it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time, But at the end, it will speak, and it will not lie.
Though it tarries, wait for it; Because it will surely come, It will not tarry.” Maybe do like I did in the past and create a vision board. Sounds stupid but just try it. Dream big. Google vision boards to see how to make one if you haven't. Look at it. Pray over it. Pray bold prayers. Try something new. You got nothing to lose...and everything to gain. Happy day. Dork out... #theguardianprogram

Nothing is more important in life than to be able to control the negative thoughts in your head.... The thoughts in your head will define your life, your career and your future. If you just knew how much every second of your own thoughts are worth in energy? - Then you would never waste it on anything or anyone that wouldn't lead you to your dream destination. The changes that can be made in your life just by having the control of your own thoughts in a positive way is indescribable. I wouldn’t be alive today if I had lost the control of my own thoughts....#TheGuardianProgram

Happy Tuesday peeps. A little food for thought for all of us. You were not born a winner, and you were not born a loser. You are what you make yourself be. We must become the change we want to see. Amateurs wait for inspiration. The rest of us just get up and go to work. The difference between perseverance and obstinacy is that one often comes from a strong will, and the other from a strong won't. The elevator to success is out of order. You'll have to use the stairs... one step at a time. Be blessed and bless another. #theguardianprogram

ROMANS 12:2 says... Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will. A Prayer to Renew Your Mind
God, sometimes when I look at the world around me, I feel overwhelmed by anxiety, and my thoughts start to spiral. Oh God, please help me. I need You to change the way I think.
Your thoughts are higher than my thoughts, and Your ways are better than mine. You give hope to the hopeless, and strength to the weak. You alone can renew my mind and remind me of my purpose.
So today, help me to take every thought captive as I give You my concerns. Remind me that You are with me, and that You will continue to instruct and guide me.
Counsel me as I reflect on Your Word, and help me to apply Your truths to my life. Give me the strength I need to do what is right, and help me to pursue You above all else—always. In Jesus’ name, Amen. #TheGuardianProgram

Happy Hump Day. In my alone quiet time I often wonder what sort of legacy I will be able to leave behind when I'm gone. For my daughter. For others. We will be known forever by the tracks we leave. The things you do for yourself are gone when we are gone, but the things you do for others remain in our legacy.
I have failed many times. And sometimes want to throw my hands up and say forget it I give up. But then realize life isn’t perfect and continue trying. I’ve made mistakes being a dad to my daughter. But I still want to try and be there for her. I’ve failed at being a friend but still want to try.
We all forget that in reality life is short. We need to try to keep our minds in the right space. It can be a struggle sometimes. But we have to continue trying. When we’re gone…we’re gone…but what we leave behind is up to us. And it takes day by day to make it happen. So hang in there. God will provide. Let’s be blessed. And be a blessing to others. What can we do today to make that happen, and work on our legacy. #TheGuardianProgram

Happy Taco Tuesday Peeps. In my short time reading today. Something to think about. (Matthew 6:19-24 ESV) says this.
"Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal, but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
“The eye is the lamp of the body. So, if your eye is healthy, your whole body will be full of light, but if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If then the light in you is darkness, how great is the darkness! “No one can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and money.
I say let's try to help some people that need help. I don't just mean monetarily, but with good deeds. Be a good friend. Listen. Offer a helping hand. Show a smile. Share some time over coffee, or a meal. Life is short so maybe just do dessert. Time is the MOST IMPORTANT gift you can give someone. Why you ask! Because you never get it back!! Be blessed and be a blessing! #TheGuardianProgram

Self-control is strength. Calmness is mastery. You have to get to a point where your mood doesn't shift based in the significant actions of someone else. Don't allow others to control the direction of your life. Don't allow your emotions to overpower your intelligence. #TheGuardianProgram

Well, let me tell you. Never let the opinions of others define for you who you are or what you can or cannot do. For though other people may sometimes know you well, they can never know you completely. You know who you are, and what is in your heart, and what you’re willing to do. No mere opinion from someone else has the power to hold you back.
Pay attention to what others say if you think it could be of use. Seek to understand and to make yourself understood as well as you possibly can. Yet always keep in mind that the person who knows most about you is you. You know what you can do, and you know why you’re doing it, even if no one else understands. The hurtful, limiting comments say more about the people who make those comments than they say about you. Whatever they may say, you know who you are. Move on confidently forward with the best that you can be.
The way to achieve any kind of success is to make it a part of you. For success is not something you do only on weekdays from eight to five, it is who you are all the time. If you constantly have to remember to discipline yourself, or worse yet, be disciplined by others, you’re not there yet. When discipline and focus are a part of your approach to every situation, that’s when success is sure to follow.
If integrity is just something you talk about and try to project, you still have a ways to go. When integrity is what drives your every decision, thought and action, then you’re truly getting there. If you’re constantly concerned about your image, your reputation, and what other people think, there’s still work to be done. When you can focus instead on real substance, doing what you know is right no matter how it may appear, then you’re really getting somewhere.
Success is achieved not by simply wishing to go out and get it. For real success does not exist outside of you, but within. The success you desire will become real when you can truly make it a part of you. Hold each experience very close so that the intensity of it surrounds and penetrates you. Then when it is time to be done with it, let it go. Hold on tightly and lovingly to each moment. But do not hold on so stubbornly that you prevent yourself from moving on.
Do not spoil the beauty of what has been by clinging desperately to it. Instead, honor and value what has been by boldly moving forward to what will be. Life is not something to be greedily captured and jealously hoarded. Rather, it is yours to be lived and shared. Let the treasures you have known continue to live as treasures in your heart. Keep their beautiful memories vibrantly alive by moving your own life positively and eagerly ahead.
Honor and treasure the past by spreading goodness and joy far into the future. Live as though the best is yet to come, and indeed it will be so. If our ship doesn't come in. We got to swim out to it!!
Whose with me? Happy Thursday Y'all. Have a great day and stay hydrated. #TheGuardianProgram

Everyone fails at some point in life. Failure is the mother of success. I've learned that I don't die from my failures. Instead, each failure humbled me, taught me some lessons and I learned to pick myself up and move on. Success tastes much sweeter when we know what failure tasted like. We appreciate success better when we have known failure before. Failure is temporary. And so is success.
When you’ve failed, it’s good to keep in mind that you can go on to succeed. When you have had some success, it’s important not to become complacent. The way things are today is not the way they will always be. Tomorrow will be different, and now you can have an impact on what that difference will be. No matter how enjoyable or discouraging, exciting or troublesome this moment may be, it is a temporary situation. You will definitely move beyond it and the only question is, in what direction?
So focus your thoughts not on the pleasures or disappointments that have brought you here, but on how you will make good use of this moment. Envision a more positive and fulfilling world, and start taking steps to make it so. Each day is a temporary situation, and yet you can use each day to move toward lasting richness. Grab the value of right now, and push it purposefully into your own bright future. Happy Saturday everyone. Have a blessed day. This is a day God created. So rejoice and be glad in it!! #TheGuardianProgram

My Thursday Thoughts. I’ve had a few days recently where things were not as I planned. Not huge things, but just things. And my attitude sucked. I let things get to me sometimes. I speak of things on here because they apply to me, just as it may apply to you. We are all human. I have a great wife from being newly married. I have a job. I have a car to get around. I have a place to lay my head. I got a spypup. All is pretty good.
When things aren't working the way you want them to, or you feel you're surrounded by problems, it can be tempting to look outward and try to change the things that you feel are causing issues. Chances are the issues you're facing aren't so cut and dry. The solution to the problem might just be your attitude.
The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life. Attitude, to me, is more important than facts. It is more important than the past, the education, the money, than circumstances, than failure, than successes, than what other people think or say or do. It is more important than appearance, giftedness or skill. It will make or break a company... a church... a home. The remarkable thing is we have a choice everyday regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day. We cannot change our past...we cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way. We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the one string we have, and that is our attitude. I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% of how I react to it. And so it is with you. We are in charge of our attitudes.
If your ship doesn't come in, swim out to it! Let's thank God for what we have. Be appreciative towards others. Help out when you can. Helping others can change our attitudes. Get involved! Be inspired. Chase a dream! And catch it! God bless and happy Thursday. Dork out…#TheGuardianProgram

Not all distractions and unexpected events are bad. Something great happened out of being someplace you didn’t expect, or talking/meeting someone unexpectedly. When was the last time you said in a good way “wow I wasn’t expecting that!”
Though it is important to stay focused, an occasional distraction can sometimes be a good thing. There is much value to be found in the unexpected. The people you didn’t expect to meet, the places you didn’t expect to go, the things you didn’t expect to learn can often lead you in new and positive directions. When you’ve been knocked off track, it serves no purpose to beat yourself up about it. Make the most of where you are. If the distraction was compelling enough to get your attention in spite of your commitment to staying focused, then it likely has something to tell you.
Success is a matter of making the most of where you are. Often, where you are is not exactly where you planned to be. That’s okay, though. You can still make the best of it. Be open to the possibilities, whatever they may be. Some of the most fortunate discoveries are made my accident. Make careful and specific plans. Follow them with focus and commitment. And leave some room for serendipity. Dork out…#TheGuardianProgram

My thoughts for Thursday. Inflicting pain on someone else cannot do anything to ease your own pain. When you have been hurt, there is nothing to be gained by passing the hurt on to another. When others have caused you pain, give forgiveness. Sincere forgiveness is the fastest way to begin moving positively forward again.
Forgiveness does not mean that you agree with or condone whatever has been done. It means that you no longer choose to let those past actions hold you back. Your willingness to forgive does not mean that you are willing to be hurt again. In fact, forgiveness frees you to take positive steps that will make you stronger and much less vulnerable. When you feel the desire for revenge, stop and remind yourself that there is a much more powerful response. Forgiveness is the way to put yourself in the best possible position.
Have you been hurt by someone? Forgive them! Have you hurt someone? Ask them for forgiveness! It works both ways. God forgives us every day over and over for our selfishness, stupidity and greed. So why shouldn’t you/me/we forgive others and Christ forgives us? You are forgiven a debt, but forgive others of their debt. How is that!
Can you find the strength to forgive? Forgive, and you will surely grow stronger. Pray and get to work. Dork out...#TheGuardianProgram

For The Guardian Program. Supporting Strong Women.
Be all you can be and more to her. Truly respect her. We’re taught that men should be respected and women should be cherished. It’s not that simple. She has an opinion, she brings value to our conversations and she needs respect and admiration for her role in the world and in our relationship.
Charm is deceptive and beauty is fleeting, but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised.” Proverbs 31:30
Don’t make her choose between you and her dreams. Support her dreams and aspirations and never make her choose. She shouldn’t have to pick between her career and her relationship with you. She really can have it all as long as she and you plan accordingly. If she gives up that drive, she’ll no longer be the woman you fell in love with in the first place. Don’t try to change her, just make it work.
Everything is within your power, and your power is within you. On the left side of a strong woman, stands a strong man; he is strengthened by her character. She has been through tough times yet she chooses never to give up hope, even when the day turns dark for her she always tries to bring light into it. She is a woman that never believes in failure. Give her sand and she will turn it into a molding block. When you humiliate her she sees it as courage.
Whenever you feel unloved, unimportant, or insecure, remember to whom you belong.” Ephesians 2:19-22
She is an example of hope. She has a concept of self-fulfillment, she has the ability to stand up to the antagonist. She is an example of a strong woman. She says "if my independence threatens your ego, you are not the man for me".
A couple bible scriptures to ponder for her. Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9
She is clothed with strength and dignity, and she laughs without fear of the future.” Proverbs 31:25
Genesis 2:22, "Then the LORD God made a woman from the rib he had taken out of the man, and he brought her to the man". Men take care of your women! Don't be threatened by a strong woman. Embrace it! Just my thoughts... God Bless Guardians...

That's Life. Enjoy the Ride!
Why would you want to take a shortcut when the journey itself is so exquisitely enjoyable? Why would you waste your energy in a vain attempt to cheat life, when it is life which gives you so very much? Why would you want to break the rules, when the rules are decidedly in your favor and for your own good? Stop scheming, stop conniving to gain an advantage, stop worrying, and just enjoy. Fulfillment comes not from having a leg up on others, but rather from forming a solid and lasting connection with them. Learn to enjoy the wonderful reality that life is difficult and filled with the necessity of effort. You are perfectly suited for it, so what’s the problem? Learn to seek out difficult challenges. It is your essential nature to do so.
What is fulfillment if not being who you are? And you are a problem solver, an achiever, a decisive thinker, fully capable of taking action to make a positive difference. You’re in your prime when doing so. Life is an effort. Life is a challenge. Life is yours and it is great. Enjoy every moment of the ride. Let this day be the way it is. Let your life, your challenges, your hopes, dreams, and frustrations be the way they are. Let everything that is, be just the way it is. Then let yourself discover the good things you can do with it all. You cannot successfully deny reality. What you can do, though, is acknowledge and greatly improve upon it.
Wishing for things to be different than they are is an empty wish. Working to make things the best they can be is a much more beneficial use of your time and energy. Avoid wasting even a few moments of your life on anger, blame, or regret. Rise to a higher level, acknowledge the truth of what is, and make good come from it. Let go of your need to control what is beyond you and embrace your power to control what is within you. Let life be just as it is, and let yourself do great things with it all. Happy Hump Day peeps. Be blessed and be a blessing. #TheGuardianProgram

If you’re not ruffling a few feathers, you’re probably not getting much done. If you’re not running into difficult problems, then you’re falling far short of your potential. You are superbly equipped to meet great challenges and to create great achievements. If you’re just maintaining the status quo, there’s a whole lot more valuable stuff you could be doing.
What you did yesterday was fine for yesterday. However, today is a new day, filled with new possibilities, so get busy exploring those possibilities. Make yourself a little bit uncomfortable by reaching a little beyond what you’re sure you can do. Challenge yourself in a meaningful way, and you will quickly grow to meet those challenges.
Ruffle a few feathers, including your own. Explore the vast territory that lies beyond your comfort zone, and discover value you never knew existed. This is a new day, so live it as a new day. This is your opportunity to add something to your life and your world that’s never been there before, so take that opportunity and run with it, now. Happy Tuesday peeps. #TheGuardianProgram

Let us be reminded of what the Bible says about marriage and specifically how men treat their wives. I write this as a sinner myself and don’t claim to be perfect in this area at all. We all fall short! Myself being newly and extremely happily married, I’m just trying to help those that might be facing hard times. Keep the faith friends.
Ephesians 5:25-33 says; Husbands, love your wives, as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her, that he might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the word, so that he might present the church to himself in splendor, without spot or wrinkle or any such thing, that she might be holy and without blemish. In the same way husbands should love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself. For no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, just as Christ does the church, because we are members of his body. “Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and hold fast to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh.” This mystery is profound, and I am saying that it refers to Christ and the church.
You might use “the grass is greener on the other side of the fence” stupid phrase. But your grass can be just as green if you water it! Don’t be overrun by work. By materialistic things. That’s not important. The things that are important are family, health and God in your life. Seek help.
What kind of legacy do you want to leave? What kind of example are you wanting to set for your kids? There are enough women having to fill the shoes of the man, “or their husband” who has given up on the entire family unit. Let that not be you! God can help but you have to reach out to Him! No time like right now. Be a testimony to others. God bless. Happy Saturday. #TheGuardianProgram

- Hebrews 13:4 says; Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the marriage bed be undefiled, for God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterous.
- Colossians 3:19 says; Husbands, love your wives, and do not be harsh with them.
- Ephesians 4:31-32 says; Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander be put away from you, along with all malice. Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.
- Malachi 2:16 says; For the man who does not love his wife but divorces her, says the Lord, the God of Israel, covers his garment with violence, says the Lord of hosts. So guard yourselves in your spirit, and do not be faithless.
- Proverbs 31:10-31 says; An excellent wife who can find? She is far more precious than jewels. The heart of her husband trusts in her, and he will have no lack of gain. She does him good, and not harm, all the days of her life. She seeks wool and flax, and works with willing hands. She is like the ships of the merchant; she brings her food from afar.
- Ephesians 5:21 says; Submitting to one another out of reverence for Christ.
- Ecclesiastes 9:9 says; Enjoy life with the wife whom you love, all the days of your vain life that he has given you under the sun, because that is your portion in life and in your toil at which you toil under the sun.

“He smiled understandingly--much more than understandingly. It was one of those rare smiles with a quality of eternal reassurance in it, that you may come across four or five times in life. It faced--or seemed to face--the whole eternal world for an instant, and then concentrated on you with an irresistible prejudice in your favor. It understood you just as far as you wanted to be understood, believed in you as you would like to believe in yourself, and assured you that it had precisely the impression of you that, at your best, you hoped to convey.” - Happy Weekend! #TheGuardianProgram |

PROCRASTINATION. This is me! I'm a PERFECTIONIST. Something I'm trying to work on. So I write to take my own advice. Hey...I'm human. One of the chief causes of procrastination is the desire to do something perfectly. Many tasks are never started because we don’t think we have enough time at the moment to do them perfectly. It would be nice if we could do everything perfectly. And it certainly is important to do your best in any endeavor. However, just because something can’t be done perfectly doesn’t mean you shouldn’t even start it. Don’t worry about doing something perfectly. The important thing is just to get started and do it. You can always go back later to make changes and revisions. A job done less than perfectly is better than a job that never gets done. Right now is the only time you have to take action. Try as you might, you cannot get something done tomorrow, because tomorrow isn’t here or guaranteed. The Bible says in Proverbs 27:1 Do not boast about tomorrow, for you do not know what a day may bring". And tomorrow is never guaranteed. Those that passed away yesterday had plans for today!
And no matter how much you may regret the past, there is nothing you can do to change it. Now is the time to act. Now is where all your opportunities live. Now is where you can be effective. Wishing won’t make anything happen, and neither will procrastination. Whatever you do right now, will get done. Now is the time. There is no other. Right now, there is something you’ve been wanting to do. Right now, there is something you’ve been needing to do. Right now, you can get started. In an instant, you can be on the road to the accomplishment of your most treasured desires. Before this moment is passed, you can be actively solving your most troubling problems. Don’t let the moment pass you by. Now is the time to act. In these days when speed and quickness are widely sought after and rewarded, it pays to keep in mind that there is also much power in moving slowly, thoughtfully, and deliberately.
Hurrying through a task accomplishes little if it burns you out or forces you to compromise the quality of the work. The extra time you take can be well worth the investment when it makes the difference between getting it right and having to do the work over again. Slowing down a little can often make the results come faster. There is a big difference between activity and accomplishment. Ultimately, results are even more important than speed. Of course, there’s nothing to be gained by delaying or procrastination, either. If you speed through things at a pace that is not sustainable, you may get impressive short-term results. Yet the most valuable accomplishments require continued, sustained effort. Sprinting is not a workable strategy for winning a marathon. Even when a choice is a passive choice, requiring no effort, it’s still very much a choice.
When you choose to procrastinate, that’s a choice, and not a beneficial one. Putting off any task is an intentional choice to be less effective, to be burdened with that task longer than you have to be. Is that really the choice you want to make? You’re choosing to rush around at the last minute getting the work done. You’re choosing to make excuses, to create regret, perhaps to compromise your reputation. It seems easy to procrastinate. After all, procrastination happens by simply doing nothing. Yet the consequences are not so easy. By a long shot, the easiest choice is to go ahead and get the work done. Choose not to put off the effort, to start on it long before it must be finished. And make the active choice that is best for the quality of your life.
The only cure for procrastination is action. Go beyond wishing, dreaming, considering, debating the options and get busy making it happen. Yes, it’s going to be a little uncomfortable, it’s going to involve effort, it’s going to require commitment, and you’re going to run into difficult challenges. So ask yourself -- do you intend to make it happen or would you rather put it off again and again so that it never gets done?
What gets done is what gets done now. In a little while, in a couple of weeks, in a few years, when you get around to it -- these “somedays” never do come. It’s helpful to substitute the word “never” for someday, for that will force you to confront the issue. Give yourself the choice between doing it now or doing it never, and you’ll be much more likely to do it now if it’s truly important to you. This moment right now is loaded with great value. You can choose to take action and make that value your own, or you can choose to do nothing and forever leave this moment’s bountiful treasure behind.
Decide to accept the tremendous opportunity that is already available to you. Let go of the excuses, and make this the moment you jump into real, effective, purposeful action. I hope this helps you. I've been meaning to write something on this, but I was always saying I'll do it tomorrow. lol....Happy Thursday... Dork Out... #TheGuardianProgram

18 God decided to give us life through the true message he sent to us. He wanted us to be the most important of all that he created.
God wants to give you all of these things- but it starts with His Word. Through the Bible, God recreates your life. When you feel like you are the end of your rope, God uses the Bible to give you a fresh life, a do-over. #TheGuardianProgram

Titus 3:5-6
5 He saved us by a washing of rebirth and renewal of the Holy Spirit. Salvation did not come from any good deeds that we ourselves did. No, it was by God’s mercy!
6 Through Jesus Christ, our Savior, God generously poured out the Holy Spirit upon us.
Titus 3:5-6
5 He saved us by a washing of rebirth and renewal of the Holy Spirit. Salvation did not come from any good deeds that we ourselves did. No, it was by God’s mercy!
6 Through Jesus Christ, our Savior, God generously poured out the Holy Spirit upon us.

So many people with so much great energy who are lost out there every weekend with broken souls, empty hearts, seeking the unknown and running away from dealing with reality. In a world & generation that thinks it's cool not to care, It's not! Goals are cool! Effort is cool! Caring and staying loyal is cool! Having self-respect, morals and dignity is cool! Try it out 😉 #TheGuardianProgram

"New Man in Christ" Christian Character
Under the "Old Covenant, " in order to gain entry into Heaven the Jewish people were required to observe the Old Testament Law. The Old Law is said to have included over 600 laws, rituals, and ordinances. Upon Jesus' death and resurrection, the New Covenant was established. Born again Believers can now enter Heaven by accepting Christ as their Lord and Savior, through faith in what He accomplished on the cross; (not by observing laws, rituals, or works). Three Tests That Prove the Genuiness of Christianity.
1: The test of belief: Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world. By this you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God, and every spirit that does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God... (1 John 4:1-3). Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household (Acts 16:31).
2: The test of obedience: Now by this we know that we know Him, if we keep His commandments. He who says, “I know Him,” and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. But whoever keeps His word, truly the love of God is perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him. He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked 1 John 2:3-6).
3: The test of love: A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. 35 By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another” (John 13:34-35).
If someone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen? 21 And this commandment we have from Him: that he who loves God must love his brother also.(1 John 4:20-21)
The New Man
The Apostle Paul said, "Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things become new."(2 Cor 5:17, KJV) According to the scripture, the born-again man or woman becomes a new creature, Jesus said: "If ye love me, keep my commandments," (John 14:15, KJV). So we follow Jesus' Commandments and His teachings as a result of our love and adoration for Him. The following scriptures offer a glimpse into the heavenly realms, and values the new man is to seek, and, those to avoid.
COL 3:1: "If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God.
Have you ever wondered where Jesus is, this is the answer; Jesus is sitting at the right hand of God the Father.
VERSE 2: "Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth."
Lifestyle and faithfulness, are indicators of the Christian's love, commitment, and faith in Christ. The New Man's attention should be on the things of God. When we become new creatures in Christ, the matters of the world are to take second place.
VERSE 5: "Therefore put to death your members which are on the earth: fornication, uncleanness, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which are idolatry." The above Scripture tells us that our actions matter.
Dealing with Temptations
Being tempted is not a sin within itself; the sin is committed by giving in to those temptations. Satan tempted Christ, and he will tempt us. We are to follow Jesus' example, by not allowing sin to gain a foothold in our lives. On a personal level, the best way to handle temptation and resist sin is to stay away from it. Don't go to the places, or allow yourself to remain in situations, that can lead to sin.
Just as alcoholics should not go into a bar, Christians should learn to avoid anything that could interfere with their relationship with the Lord. We are held accountable to God for our actions and Christian conduct, and we are promised that, when we resist Satan, he will flee, (James 4:3). When we pray, the Holy Spirit will help us to resist, so we should always pray! Paul, still talking about sin, changes direction slightly
VERSE 8-9 "But now you yourselves are to put off all these: anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy language out of your mouth. Do not lie to one another, since you have put off the old man with his deeds."
Most Christians know not to blaspheme, meaning to speak against the things of God; and about malice, and to not harm our brothers in any way; but what about anger and wrath, and filthy language, and lies?
Anger and wrath. There is righteous anger and possibly righteous wrath, which can only come, either by or through God. But this scripture is talking about worldly anger and wrath, and we are told not to let it get out of control.
Filthy Language. While the new man is not to be so pious as to leave the appearance of looking down on the rest of the world, we are told not to use "Filthy Language (verses 8-9)." As Paul said in verse 5, we are to allow those things to be "dead," in our lives, (to no longer exist.)
Do Not Lie. Lying is not characteristic of the New Man: "Do not lie to one another, since you have put off the old man with his deeds, and have put on the new man who is renewed in knowledge according to the image of Him who created him," (Col 3:8-10).
The Elect of God Holy and Beloved
Paul is now speaking of the Heavenly/Spiritual characteristics of the new life in Christ. Note the difference in these scriptures and the ones above.
VERSES 12-17: "Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering;
13: bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do. 14: But above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection. 15: And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful. 16: Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. 17: And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him."
God knows the heart of man, and He knows when we are sincerely trying to follow Him; so when we do sin, we have this great promise: "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness," (1 John 1:9). Blessings...

The Power of Thought. Investing in yourself. Never underestimate the power you have to take your life in a new direction. Success in life is not for those who run fast, but for those who keep running and always on the move. I absolutely think that happiness is a choice. One of the most potent forces in human psychology is the power of habit. Do something, think something, often enough and it will become the only thing you can do or think. Choose to be unhappy and soon that’s all you will be. Live in a swamp and you’ll grow webbed feet. This world is not a wonderful place where unfortunately many evil things happen, but this world is a terrible place where fortunately many miracles and other wonderful things happen. Love who you are and respect yourself yet never water your love down for the sake of anyone. Love yourself enough to walk away from anything that doesn't serve you anymore. To receive the love you want you must be able to give the Love you have. When you don’t see the light, Be the light, Share the light.
Invest in yourself. You probably have a good idea about where your money is invested. Do you have an equal awareness of how your life is being invested? In the same way that a good financial investment will build your material wealth, the way you invest your life can make an enormous difference in the life that you experience. Every time you make an intentional, purposeful, positive investment in your life, it will pay rich dividends for a long time.
How do you invest your life? You invest your life by the way you live it. Every moment, you’re investing your life in one way or another. Though the days pass by quickly, they always stay with you in a very real way, based on how you live them. You have the opportunity, right now, to live in such a way that you’ll make your world a more beautiful and valuable place for years and years to come. Right now, by the way you live this moment, you are making an investment in your own life and in your world. When you keep that in mind and resolve to make it the best possible investment, you, and those around you, will be richly rewarded.
So what is a way you can positively invest your life? The possibilities are limited only by your imagination. But let's just take one for now. Invest in creativity! Every situation is an opportunity to create something new and valuable. We tend to associate creativity with the fine arts, yet creativity is so much more than artistic creativity. There are ways to be positively and valuably creative in all areas of life.
Anyone anywhere can be creative. It’s just a matter of opening the mind, stepping outside the comfortable box of your limitations, then putting into form and action the original thoughts which come to you. You are a unique person. There is no one else exactly like you anywhere. The bible says in Jeremiah 29:11 "For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future".
Stop for a moment and think about what that means. Think about the enormous opportunity it provides you. You can express yourself, and express the beauty of life, in ways that are completely new and original. God has given you unique talents. So use them to help others. Creativity does not get used up. In fact, the more you exercise your creativity, the more you have of it. Creativity feeds upon itself. What may at first seem like a small, insignificant idea, can grow into something substantial when you let the creativity continue to flow.
A magnificent painting begins with a single brushstroke, creatively applied. One creative act leads to another, and soon you have a masterpiece. We often imagine creativity as being on a grand scale, and yet it is in the grainy texture of life that true creativity occurs.
Life is short. Go be creative. God created you intentionally. Not by accident. Thank God for allowing you to see another day. No matter what, keep trusting, keep believing, be strong, and have hope. The best is yet to come. Have a great weekend. Be blessed and be a blessing to others. Dork out... #TheGuardianProgram

Happy Wednesday. I thought I would try something different for today. Maybe offer the chance to help someone in their life. Are you struggling in life? Are you facing something big? Is your marriage or relationship in jeopardy? A health scare got you full of anxiety? Or maybe things are going well, and you want to change your life. Well, here you go with these simple steps.
STEPS TO PEACE WITH GOD
GOD’S PURPOSE: PEACE & LIFE (Step 1)
God loves you and wants you to experience peace and life—abundant and eternal. The Bible says: “We have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.” ROMANS 5:1 “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” JOHN 3:16 “I have come that they may have life and that they may have it more abundantly.” JOHN 10:10
WHY DON’T MOST PEOPLE HAVE THIS PEACE AND ABUNDANT LIFE THAT GOD PLANNED FOR US TO HAVE?
THE PROBLEM: SIN SEPARATES US (Step 2)
God created us in His own image to have an abundant life. He did not make us as robots to automatically love and obey Him. God gave us a will and freedom of choice. We chose to disobey God and go our own willful way. We still make this choice today. This results in separation from God. The Bible says: “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” ROMANS 3:23 “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” ROMANS 6:23
OUR CHOICE RESULTS IN SEPARATION FROM GOD. OUR ATTEMPTS TO REACH GOD People have tried in many ways to bridge this gap between themselves and God ... The Bible says: “There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way of death.” PROVERBS 14:12 “But your iniquities have separated you from your God, and your sins have hidden His face from you so that He will not hear.” ISAIAH 59:2 NO BRIDGE REACHES GOD ... EXCEPT ONE.
GOD’S REMEDY: THE CROSS (Step 3)
Jesus Christ died on the cross and rose from the grave. He paid the penalty for our sin and bridged the gap between God and people. The Bible says: “For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus.” 1 TIMOTHY 2:5 “For Christ also suffered once for sins, the just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God.” 1 PETER 3:18 “But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” ROMANS 5:8
GOD HAS PROVIDED THE ONLY WAY ... EACH PERSON MUST MAKE A CHOICE...
OUR RESPONSE: RECEIVE CHRIST (Step4)
We must trust Jesus Christ as Lod and Savior and receive Him by personal invitation. The Bible says: “Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come into him and dine with him, and he with Me.” REVELATION 3:20 “But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name.” JOHN 1:12 “If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.” ROMANS 10:9
WILL YOU RECEIVE JESUS CHRIST RIGHT NOW? HERE IS HOW YOU CAN RECEIVE CHRIST: It's as simple as ABC.
A= Admit your need. (I am a sinner.) and be willing to turn from your sins (repent) and ask for God’s forgiveness.
B= Believe that Jesus Christ died for you on the cross and rose from the grave.
C= Through prayer, invite Jesus Christ to come in and control your life through the Holy Spirit. (Receive Jesus as Lord and Savior.)
HOW YOU CAN PRAY THIS: Dear God, I know that I am a sinner. I want to turn from my sins, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe that Jesus Christ is Your Son. I believe He died for my sins and that You raised Him to life. I want Him to come into my heart and to take control of my life. I want to trust Jesus as my Savior and follow Him as my Lord from this day forward. In Jesus’ Name, amen
Let me be clear. Doing this won't make your troubles go away. You will still face trials, struggles, seasons, and problems. With God, some doors will open and others will close. It will force you to look at situations and evaluate your life. He has a plan for you. But what will do is invite God into your life and have Him on your side to get you through these issues. The bible says in Matthew 19:26 "Jesus looked at them and said, "With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible."
If you prayed this prayer and asked God into your life. Welcome to the family. God bless and enjoy. Dork out...

Anxiety. We all get it. What about this...what about that... Finances. Marriage. Covid, yada yada yada... But what does the bible say about it? Well here goes...
Philippians 4:6-7
Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
Anxiety is universal. We have a lot of words in English for anxiety: stress, preoccupation, being burdened, feeling pressured, being obsessed . . . it is a human experience that everybody knows on some level. I’d say a couple of things to someone who is experiencing anxiety. Anxiety is understandable. First, we have really good reasons to be anxious. We live in a world facing forces way bigger than us. We’re all mortal. We cannot control the most important things about life and death. If you have children, you can’t guarantee the outcome of their life or if they’ll live or die. You have many responsibilities as a parent, but many more reasons you could be a nervous wreck. There’s actually something comforting in the truth that we have good reason to be anxious. It normalizes the experience. You’re not just a nut with a diagnosis.
Don’t be afraid God is with you. Second, it’s striking that the most frequent command in the entire Bible is to not be afraid. Don’t fear. Don’t be anxious. And it’s a very unusual command because it doesn’t say, “Repent,” or “Try harder.” It’s a command, but then the next thing said is a promise: “I will be with you. Don’t be afraid.”
It’s said in a tone of voice that has no sternness in it. It’s not, “Don’t be afraid, you lousy so-and-so.” It’s “Don’t be afraid, I’m with you.”
So how do we move forward? First, we’re able to normalize the experience. Then we hear a promise at the heart of the solution. And then we’re given very specific guidelines about how to go forward. The whole thing is summarized very well in Philippians 4. It starts out by saying, “The Lord is near–there’s the promise. Don’t be anxious about anything–there’s the command. But in everything, by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, make your requests known to God.”
Lastly. Recognize who he is. Express thankfulness that he is near. Let him know what’s on our hearts and minds. It’s a picture that has attached to it a further promise that God’s peace will attend us. I think that anxiety is an everyday, every-person, human struggle that can also be one of the most fruitful opportunities for real sanctification. I hope that helps. God bless.

Matthew 6:19-21 (NIV) says;
19 “Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. 20 But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. 21 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
Do you wish to invest your life in anger, or would you prefer to invest it in love? Would you like to spend your time and energy creating enemies, or would you rather be building and strengthening friendships? Do you really need all those flashy, useless things that serve only to somehow make you feel superior to others? Is there really anything to be gained by being haughty and rude?
Every moment of life can be a unique, wondrous and deeply inspiring experience. Why would you ever consider wasting even a tiny bit of your precious time on petty bickering or one-upmanship? Let go of the silly need to prove anything and you’ll free yourself to accomplish so very much. The only way to raise yourself up is to raise up others, to raise up your world, to raise up all of life.
Galatians 5:22-23 (NIV)
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. Joy comes to you when you give it. Happiness is yours when you live it.
Everything you need, you are already capable of being. Smile from the heart and fulfill the destiny that is yours in this beautiful moment. Blessings... Dork out... #TheGuardianProgram

“Gone For Good”- 1 John 1:9
A little girl who broke one of her mother’s china cups. The little girl came crying to her mother and said,” Oh, mama. I’m so sorry I broke your beautiful cup!” “I know you are sorry, and I forgive you,” the mother said kindly. “There is no need to cry anymore.” Then she swept up the pieces of the broken cup and put them in the trash. But the little girl still felt bad. She went to the trash can, picked out pieces of the broken cup, and brought them to her mother again. “Oh, Mama,” she said again, “I’m so sorry that I broke your pretty cup!” This time her mother spoke firmly to her. “Put those pieces back in the trash, and don’t take them out again. I told you I forgive you.” If we have confessed our sins to Jesus, we don’t need to keep holding on to our guilt. God has forgiven us and taken our sins away- forever! #TheGuardianProgram

In life sometimes you smile... Sometimes you cry... There is a lot of ups and downs... But what ever you do, you have to make sure to be strong and keep moving forward. Trying to look for the positive in everything and see where the sun is shining. #TheGuardianProgram

In my alone quiet time I often wonder what sort of legacy I will be able to leave behind when I'm gone. For my daughter. For others. We will be known forever by the tracks we leave. The things you do for yourself are gone when we are gone, but the things you do for others remain in our legacy. Many times I have spent praying to God for strength. Wisdom. Understanding. Forgiveness. Help. Compassion. Mercy. Peace and so much more. He has not let me down. He's brought me through so much. I couldn't and still can't get through it or life without God on my side. All things considered. I'm blessed.
Give to yourself the highest of expectations. And all the while, be patient with yourself as well. Know for certain that you are surely born to do great things. And know also that real value takes time and patience to fully develop. You are always a work in progress. On some days you will make a little more progress than usual and on other days a little less. Take chances. Enjoy a little risk.
Yet every day has its purpose and its own special value. Even when, by all outward appearances, you are falling behind, on a deeper level you are always moving forward. For every experience, whatever it may be, brings its own richness to your life. Learn to see that richness, to accept it, to make use of it, and you will find your most treasured dreams coming to life.
Be eager to make the effort, and patient about seeing the results. Something in each and every day will move you forward.
Materialism fades. When you die, they won't remember your car, your toys, or your house. They will remember who you were. What you did with your talents to help others. And what impact you made on others. At least for me, that's what I wish for.
The Bible says in Matthew 6:20 ESV But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal.
Remember this. You will never see a U-Haul following the Hearst. Be a good human, not a good materialist! Dork out....#TheGuardianProgram

One secret to happiness is letting every situation be what it is, instead of what we think it should be. Because nothing we do can change the past, but everything we do changes the future. I will use my experiences to create productive daily routines so that I can shape my life.
It's a beautiful thought to know that some of the best days of our lives haven't happened yet. Cheers to the future! #TheGuardianProgram

Sometimes people try to expose what's wrong with you, because they can't handle what's right with you... In Life no matter what you do people will always talk...ALWAYS! No matter WHAT you do they will have different opinion about you, your lifestyle and your way of thinking... and the reality is that you can not please everyone... and you shouldn't even try... You should only care about yourself and the ones that loves you... The Rest... No comments #TheGuardianProgram

Last night was a night of no sleep because intercession was needed. There was much spiritual warfare going on. God downloaded information of which there is something that is critical FoRe! some of you. You will know what is FoRe! you as I share. Satan and his legion have been relentless in attacks on some because some have let their guard down. Some have listened to the noise through people who are trying to appeal to you with subtle words. This is the time to quiet the noise so that you stay on high alert. I’ve asked the Lord to turn up your discernment level. Some of this is specifically FoRe! you and some is FoRe! family members and friends. You must keep your heart guarded with all diligence as you go about your daily activities and pray FoRe! those who are struggling because they may not even know. It can be so subtle. It may seem as if things are not is bad and then when your guard is down those demonic spirits will attack.
Do not give them a foot hold. This foul spirit has even tried get you to think that you are not worthy. That you can just go lay down and never wake up and have to deal with it. That is a lie from the pit of hell. God loves each of you.
When things seem to be a bit tough, stay strong because God is about to take you into another level of authority. You’ve been through much, that makes you one with credibility and the enemy knows if you share information that will help others it will be good FoRe! the hearer and so that foul spirit must stop your words before they take root and grow. The trick is to isolate you. This group must stick together and intercede for each other. All of us need to stay away from unwholesome talk, unwholesome thoughts and we must even be mindful of the little things like how we dress because it can cause others and even yourself to cast off restraint and do whatever ever feels good. Soft porn is rampant.
Do what’s right in God’s eyes. There are those you know that you are accountable to. Reach out to them and talk and pray with them. Do not cause others to stumble. Subtleness is one way the enemy can get us off track. Do not take things for granted.
And finally take a moment to reflect on where you were a year ago and how over night things around the world changed. Do not fret, God is in charge and He will not leave nor forsake you. His promises are Yes and Amen! I am so grateful that each of you have been called FoRe! such a time as this. Let God be your strength FoRe! there is no better time to surrender to Him. In His grip. #TheGuardianProgram

If you are celebrating Valentine’s Day please remember that love isn’t just between two people in a relationship. Love is a universal language that connects us all. Message your parents, siblings, friends and/or anyone that matters to you and tell them you love them… We never know what happens tomorrow. Especially after what we have seen and learnt the past years.
Also remember that love is something that needs to be cherished everyday not just today with that said – Love can be blind! This message goes to all the wonderful people out there who are in an unhealthy relationship with abuse and violence. Remember with love comes respect and appreciation every day. I have met and heard too many stories about domestic violence lately and I want to send out a message to anyone who can relate… Talk to anyone you can about your situation - You are beautiful, you are strong, and you are worth a lot more.
Happy Valentine’s Day! #TheGuardianProgram

I'm all set and ready for Valentine's Day.....but without the special girl in my life....
I'm seeking a meaningful relationship. Please GOD grant me the vision to recognize it, the maturity to appreciate it, the strength to keep it, and the love and passion to feed it.
But till then... #TheGuardianProgram
